This was confirmed also by the results of the study The Australian Institute of Sport. According to the researchers, caffeine in coffee can “push” muscles to burn fat (instead of carbohydrate) as a source of energy.
Research conducted on athletes showed cycling, athletes who drank a cup of coffee before exercise, was able to practice longer than those who drank only water.
